Say Sessions--in order to get back into the Madman's good graces--announces he is unrecusing himself [View all]

....and is hereby firing Robert Mueller.

I'm assuming that while that's God's holy balls unethical, still possible?

Is it final? Is there any legal effect of a recusal? Are recusals final? Could a court enjoin Sessions from doing that?

I think we're in uncharted territory here so I honestly have no idea how any of this would play out.
