(14,525 posts)We're not the ones that have to make shit up about other Democrats like they "flirt with the possibility that the election of Donald Trump "might not be so bad" to make us sound superior.
And no one is calling for an "exodus". Geez. I've never seen such a bitter little group of sniveling butt-hurt whiners. Personally, excepting the fact that Donald fucking Trump is going to be President for at least four years with a majority of Rs behind him is what is frightening. That is the enemy, not fellow Democrats, liberals, progressives, or anyone else, whether they are officially Democrats or not, that can help find ways to connect the Democratic party to more voters.
Not accepting help from the Democratic party primary runner up because you are still steaming because you were wrong, we all were wrong, that Hillary was going to glide right in. And were already living in that future, and watching it yanked out from under you hurts. I understand that it would hurt more if you were behind her from the start. But there's a time to stop acting like children who can't have their chocolate cake and eat your broccoli or whatever it is that will help connect the party more with the 99%.
