(21,691 posts)People going into gun stores are often armed (if the shop has a range, as many do, one must bring in their own properly transported gun as a way to cut down on suicides; the logic being that if you already have a gun, you probably won't rent a pistol to commit suicide at the range).
Some, even many, depending upon where you are, will actually agree about the need for better gun control (background checks, waiting periods, etc).
Pretty much, though, most of them won't be having one of the more unpleasant days of their lives and protesters won't be making it worse. I'm not sure following the antiabortnoid playbook is a great idea; after all, they think killing to show how precious life is is a swell idea. Stalking and threatening people known to be armed may not have the intended consequences.
