12. Molly Ivins still had the ultimate put down of Pat Buchanan

saying that his speech sounded better in its original German. I thought that comment took the air out of the enthusiasm for Buchanan. This was back before every discussion on the internet drew comparisons to Hitler if it went more than 10 or so posts.
