Has anyone here ever driven on E-470 (toll road) on east side of Denver? [View all]

And what was your experience?

I drove on it last Sunday on a trip to see family and friends. I knew it was a toll road.

But when I got to the first toll booth, it was blocked off and there was a sign for charges for two-axle vehicles and others on a flashing billboard. My first thought was that they will ask for payment at the next toll booth? But the same was blocked again?? There was no sign or explanation??

So, when we got to our destination, we were informed by family that they got us on a camera and they would send us a bill for about $18 for our short trip on the toll road. I felt like I had been ripped off and robbed. Also, they said if I did not pay it, then I would get a fine for about
$75-$80...

I have yet to get the bill from them and I have yet to decide what I will do about it. Anyone else been on this road?
