I suggested tazing..other self defense mechanisms. Everyone seems OK with killing. I agree with you.
The chief of police was asked about tazers and said some of the cars are equipped with tazers. He did/would not say whether or not the car involved was equipped with tazers.
I think I am in the minority here.
Seems most are OK with lethal force.
I would at least like to know what other options might be available. Witnesses said, according to chief of police it was "suicide by cop". May have been a clean shoot.
I just would hope we would make non-lethal force a priority....at least talk about it.

A knife is a lethal weapon and the only option when a knife is involved is lethal force.
