In reply to the discussion: Death makes a deal with the Governor of Georgia: [View all]SCVDem
(5,103 posts)12. Let's go for the third rail.
There has not been a political assasination succeed since Kennedy. We have had a few near misses and then the nutjob who shot Gabby Giffords.
What happens if the empowered mentally ill take advantage and target the enablers? Government buildings surely includes the governor's office, doesn't it? I bet the congress will feel so much better with so many walking their halls, AKs and other war toys openly carried. Pity the security guards, outgunned. Why do they assume that only Repubs have a weapon?
Will the NRA toadies still stay the pro-gun course? Will anyone care or are we so inured that it just doesn't matter?
WTF is going to make this madness stop?

Really? Try to be more observant or honest about it. A student packing has an issue.

I guess the murder of a black kid armed with Skittles doesn't count as a crime in your book?
