(16,916 posts)Utah's Mormons are cultists, and there aren't very many Christians there at all.
Also, a 2013 Gallup poll shows Mississippi as the most religious state, with Utah 2nd. Worthy of note though, the % of Utahns who say they aren't religious at all (27%) is greater than any of the other top 10 "most religious" states. In short, Utah is the "least religious" of the "most religious" states. Utah's religious demographics aren't as cut and dried as we might think.

More importantly, how can you locally and rationally attribute a behavior to all Christians in an entire state based on the actions of one school in one district in one county?
Forget Utah's religion. Can you use critical thinking skills to justify the original comment?
