(8,084 posts)I see companies putting out cars that are energy efficient. But they cost 50k or more. I have never spent more than 10k for a car. In fact the last two cars I have purchased were under 5k.
Solar panels are a great Idea too but again they are not cheap. Going Green cost a lot of money.
I live within my means I don't use credit cards. I buy used for everything from furniture to clothing to cars. I am even beginning to grow my own food.
I like saving money not spending it.
The only way to beat Exxon is to start creating things that are not Exxon Dependent. But they have to be affordable. Not everyone can afford a 50k all electric car, and still feed their kids.
I would love it if someone created a legitimate converter. That would convert a gasoline engine to an alternative fuel engine. Is that possible?
I have seen conversion videos on YouTube, but I don't know if they are real or fake.
If it can be done, We could begin to eliminate our daily need for companies like Exxon. Because people could convert their existing vehicles and not have to go into debt buying a green energy car.
