I get what you're saying. You're saying that you want to debate the really big issues of the day. Police violence. Foreign Wars. Debt ceiling. Sequestration. Racism.

Some people think that sexism should be in that list of major political issues, and that sexism is a function of day to day behaviours.

But every time I read your OP, I see this: "Shit, even disagreements about Trayvon Martin and the Birthers is more important than this shit. "

"This shit" would seem to be "boob jokes" and it isn't just us misunderstanding the tone of what you wrote, but rather reading what you literally wrote:

"Shit, even disagreements about Trayvon Martin and the Birthers is more important than this shit."

More. Important. Than. This. Shit.

It sounds like you're belittling the concerns of a large number of the members here, regarding a serious problem in your society.
