being a podcaster isn't a job, being an artist isn't honest work either I guess?

I suppose he could have gotten a job with his family name that pays millions a year? He is not "skating" on the family name. The life he chose is in reality a hard one. You don't get monetized in podcasting until you have enough followers to rate and if you don't have a good show, people don't listen just because of your name. And being an artist isn't a piece of cake either.
