But I am impressed with the clarity and consistency of what Platner has been saying during the entire campaign. I believe our only hope is candidates who will speak clearly, forcefully and consistently, clearly on the side of working Americans.

EVERY candidate can be smeared. They are smearing Talarico for being a Vegan.

My rationalization is that if Platner turns out to be another Fetterman, we are no worse off than with Collins. OTOH, if he is true to his word, we gain some real backbone in the Senate, and we can build on that.

Regarding the tattoo, I simply don't believe anybody who claims to have known this was a Nazi symbol. That's a very obscure reference and the skull & crossbones imagery has been used millions of times in other contexts that have nothing to do with Nazis. Moreover, that misses the big picture, which is that it is now Israel that is leading the genocides. What Netanyahu has done to destroy sympathies for what the Jewish people suffered under Hitler is unforgivable.
