I haven't yet read most of them. I don't think they're irrelevant.
What is being expressed is the frustration of years of being told to vote blue which meant a milquetoast, corporate-friendly, Netanyahu supporting "moderate" instead of the real liberal we needed. Of having posts hidden for being to liberal and resenting my vote being taken for granted just because I'll never vote for a fucking republicon. And now the same people who told me to get on my knees and "thank god for Joe Manchin" are seemingly outraged that suddenly their apparent purity test isn't being adhered to.
I don't like quite a lot about this candidacy, and it does kinda make me wonder who is behind him and why.
So far, the things he's said about standing up to fascists are good. If he sticks with that, he'll be far better than Collins. She puts rapist on the SCOTUS, and thinks other rapists "learned their lesson".
He may turn out to be another turncoat, but if this is the choice we get, he's better than her. I hope she is defeated by a liberal who will stand up and fight for democracy and the working people. I guess we'll find out.
