33. Addressing the squandering (theft) of water

At the rate of diverting our precious water away from dense populations there will be noticeable, frequent water emergencies. I don’t think it’s alarmists to plan your housing if possible to rural areas equipped with an independent, well source of water.

Naturally, this will not be a solution for most of us. The rich oligarchs have already immunized themselves from the thirsty data center water crisis. Their foreign and domestic realestate has effectively buffered them from the shortage, so far at least.
