8. Speaking truth to power at this level is a dangerous thing to do.

I had a small taste of it many years ago when on borough council I took on powerful people who wanted to frack for gas and strip coal on our pristine watershed, and yes there were death threats and I spent many sleepless nights. What Massie is doing is so much more dangerous than what I did.
