Tech unemployment is relatively high now and there are massive disruptions now with AI.

If these folks are as talented as they claim to be, companies like NVIDIA will scoop them up and pay the $100k. If it’s not happening, well maybe the US market doesn’t value them as much, and they can find work in India. The companies laying off workers here are at the same time expanding over there.
