8. My Ex-wife had a pregnancy go wrong forty years ago in Germany.

The fetus was not viable and there was no way it would live past birth. The dr's feared that the fetus would die in the womb giving her sepsis. She was six months along. I was in the US army and the Hyde amendment forbid "abortion." in the US military. My family and i had to hire an attorney in Germany and pay a medical review board to certify under German law that the fetus was not viable. Then I had to pay the German medical bills because I was an American.

It's funny in a way. I was always so vehemently against abortion at 18 before this. I know now what people go through in such a horrible situation. It was a GD horror show.
