6. I welcomed them back home yesterday

And yes, the Venerable Monks had one particular "preacher" who followed them state to state with his tiny amp. He told Pannakara he was going to hell, Pannakara relied ok. Then the intolerant "preacher" told Pannakara he didn't want him to go to hell, and Pannakara said ok, May you be well, happy and peaceful. Pannakara didn't engage with him after that. The intolerant "preacher" also carried a sign like the westboro "church" a thorn in the side of Peace.

I followed them daily and the people who greeted them were seeking something empty in their lives. They brought flowers, food, hand warmers, gloves, and love and kindness. They also gathered to hear the Monks speak. They traversed through all kinds of weather conditions, sickness, and the horrible accident in Texas. They kept Walking for Peace.

There was even two governors who proclaimed Walk for Peace Days both Democrats. Plus Democrats met them in DC.

Yesterday at the Welcome Home gathering there were thousands of people to greet them in a heavy downpour. It was definitely a lifetime journey they'll never forget.

I will continue to visit the Temple, tomorrow is a new year eve celebration which I'm excited to attend.
