Spare the rod, spoil the child. Which, by the way, is not found in the Bible, although many of these faux-Christians think it is, especially in the Deep South, where this incident took place.

She was released the next day on bond, but the school fired her. If she goes to prison for this, I imagine the other inmates will make life Hell for her...they don't like child abusers.
