2. Try helping someone else. You'll be surprised how it benefits you.

I know this is crummy, but I donated a lot of stuff to a charity that helps others (not the big name ones) that I never used in 10 years and have no plans to use in the future (even though there are several options open. They fit none of them, but they are still good, clean and working things.)

I'm just so far from everyone else that direct help is a very long drive.

There are ALWAYS people less fortunate than you.

And learn Spanish, especially if you live in California.
