22. Metal wedding bands

I had have my wedding ring sized up a little in my 50s. The local jeweler had to send it off and it took several weeks. I remember the raised eyebrows at the time to the point I got sick of explaining the ring was in for maintenance.

Menopausal swelling isn't the only reason a lady may not wear it. She doesn't owe an explanation to anyone but JD... and maybe not even then. Yes, her husband is a putz, but that's not her fault.
