I read the DA must give a reason for each and every redaction, and then the judge must review each and say yea or nay? I believe that if the DA has a legitimate reason and the judge agrees, then they would redact all mentions of that person in one go. Meaning it would not take all that long because how many separate names could there be? Even if there are hundreds of names, it would not take all that long to review the reasoning for redacting. The victims that have chosen to not be named have already been redacted.

They do not go through and decide on each mention, as that would expose the person, so really, the talk about this taking forever is overblown. Bondi can still take her sweet time, unless given a deadline that she'll ignore. So interesting to watch our lawful society being torn down by our current President and his entire administration (if it can be called that).
