I have no doubt that the rank-and-file at CBS, with souls rent asunder and hearts eviscerated by the cruel machinations of my post, languish in a state of inconsolable desolation and overwrought despair. And yet, even across this vast expanse, I can perceive the shimmering echo of their ethereal, celestial chorus -- a syrupy symphony of praises and profuse, heartfelt gratitude, rising heavenward in appreciation for the theatrical rage paraded on their behalf. Oh, the profound relief that must surely fill their quivering bosoms, for they must know, in the deepest marrow of their bones, that finally, at this blessed, long-awaited hour, a savior has deigned to arrive.
Good grief. Oh well... you do you.
