come straight from your heart and lived experiences and that is always something to be acknowledged, appreciated, snd applauded. I started going to protests and rallies while in college in the late sixties and am still at it. I have been going to the rallies since inauguration with music pals and we sing and play. People spontaneously join in and sometimes people shed tears because of the overwhelming collective purpose and spirit we share. My dad was a battlefield medic in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II and his unit helped liberate Buchenwald Concentration Camp. I know he would be glad I am one of millions (as are you!) who is unflinchingly standing strong and continuing to insist, resist, and persist. At one protest, I saw a tiny, frail, very elderly woman whose sign on the front of her walker as she was inching along read: “ Courage can be found in unusual places .” Be well and safe, speak easy (love your user name). Thanks again for sharing!🧡😊
