and have not cooked anything in a year, so I'm a bit vague about current prices. I was in the grocery store today picking up some wine and glanced at beef prices and was totally horrified. I'm an enthusiastic beef eater, but not that enthusiastic.

However, when it comes to eggs, in all honesty so long as they are less than a dollar an egg, they're still a good buy.
