Only being restrained after the fact by the courts, some of the time.

We must elect fearless senators who won’t worry about what republicans might do - we’ve already seen their worst with the filibuster.

If the filibuster is killed quickly and the court expanded, then the next Dem administration can govern progressively without hesitation or obstruction, and the people will be reluctant to vote them out and lose the benefits (child tax credit, lower healthcare premiums, basic human rights) of good Dem governance.

It simply must be done. Anyone to fearful of what republicans might do should get out of the way and make room for someone with more courage.
