In a truck stop, eating my dinner!
I heard a waitress have a conversation with a couple of
older men who were having lunch.
I did not hear what one of the men say to the waitress, but whatever it was? The waitress was not happy and as she walked away from the table “well, you’re the idiots that voted for him”! She was not happy when came to my table to check on me. I didn’t say a word, but I knew she wasn’t going to anymore crap from them.
I finished my dinner, saw the men had left. She came back over and apologized. I said not to worry no apology needed. She explained that one of men was a relative and tries to start crap every time they come in. The men didn’t even leave a tip. I left her a well deserved tip and she was definitely appreciative of that. That’s was all crap was about, the new tax on tip scam(her words not mine).
The cruelty of this country stems mainly from one person and it rubs off on the people!
