Historical significance and good taste are of no value whatsoever to the current regime. And there is nowhere near enough public opposition to what's being done to our most important national symbols. This garbage behavior will continue until our enemies are terrified into backing off. Meanwhile, raise hell with your elected representatives (even the shitheads) and in the name of what still exists of decency and honor, vote.
