Just got back from the rally on the square in my IA hometown of less than 10K. [View all]

About 500 people showed up.

Good speakers.

Lots of good signs. Some young women had signs about Epstein.

My sign was "RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES NOW."

A group of young boys on bicycles stopped me and asked who I was going to vote for and started recording me. I said in which election? They didn't really know what I meant by that and said am I voting for Trump? I said he won't be running again and that I did NOT vote for him for President. Why not, they asked. I said I voted for democracy and for the Constitution. Trump breaks our laws and our Constitution. I vote for our freedoms and for the freedoms of our younger generation, pointing to them. Trump wants to take away our freedoms, I continued. The boy who was recording me on his phone said he believed me and would go home and google it to read about it, because, he said, "I'm young and don't know these things." They all thanked me for talking with them, and I thanked them, too.....A sweet encounter!
