Science denial is dangerous no matter who is promoting it, but it's ten times worse when it's coming from people in positions of political power. In February, RFK Jr. was appointed by Donald Trump to act as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees CDC, NIH, and FDA.
Bobby is famous for profiting from spreading lies about vaccines, denying the germ theory of disease, and just generally being a complete maniac masquerading as someone who cares about public health, largely coasting off of his family name.
