9. It's a psychopathic regime, headed by a senile psychopath surrounded by psychopathic enablers.

The structure of a sane, responsible government is still there, but too many of the people inhabiting it now are malicious, with too many of those in government who are sane and responsible having been fired, driven out, deprived of power, or bullied into at least temporary silence.

The regime is not hostile to its enablers, at least as long as it thinks it needs them and doesn't think they'll turn whistleblower or opponent.

But it's an anti-Constitutional, lawless regime harming this country and others, as well as the environment.
