The racists will flock to anyone who elevates their world view. Certainly the farmers who voted for trump will vote for Vance. Who in the GOP is going to run against him? The only one who could give him a run for his money Is Margorie Taylor Greene, I think. She might just have enough "I don't give a shit." to do it.

Do I want trump's racist coalition to fall apart? Absolutely, yes. But I think that these people have so entrenched themselves and can taste the bloodlust that trump is providing them. They fear that there will be reprisals. They fear justice. Vance will shield them and advance their delusions that the targets of their bigotries are the cause of their miseries.
