Try to be incommunicado with the outside world as much as possible while you're protesting -- just totally be with the people you're with -- so that you're not 'located' in your location settings. That's data. It's sent to your carrier which would then turn it over to Homeland upon request. Why? Because that's what telecom businesses do, nothing personal.
