Tuesday

Some nco's at our Coast Guard station wanted to set up a lounge (a total non-starter) and enlisted submitted proposed names all seemingly using the letters F, T, and G.

Friendly Tom Grog got some likes.

But the "FTG" lounge never happened. The CO made sure of that.

We were adjacent to a college campus and the optics would have been really bad.

A buddy and I would head to the local watering hole and grab some beers and watch Kung Fu. Nice.

Not sure what the Marines would have proposed.
