under any other "normal" circumstances. We need warm-bodies NOW in the Senate, we need our numbers up NOW. It makes little sense to me to not pursue the obvious easy advantages that we get by shifting the balance of power in the Senate rather than dismissing her as a one-term "placeholder" Senator who's not worth considering or supporting, based on the belief that someone "better" and "younger" might come along who could hold the seat for more years.

I'm very happy to hear this news.
