Sadly recent versions of google chrome broke that so I've retreated to firefox.

I don't have to worry about "smart phone" stuff because I haven't got one.

If I'm really, really, really annoyed I'll pull a hammer out of my Linux toolbox and blacklist entire domains from my internet.
