judging from the tone of the new MAGA owner's comments:

Liberty Vote announced the purchase of Dominion Thursday afternoon. The company, which is the nation's largest provider of electronic poll book technology, was founded by Scott Leiendecker, a former Republican elections director. The terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

In a statement Thursday, Liberty Vote said it would be "100% AMERICAN OWNED," and that "as of today, Dominion is gone." Dominion was incorporated in Toronto but in 2009, it moved its headquarters to Denver.

"Liberty Vote signals a new chapter for American elections—one where trust is rebuilt from the ground up," Leiendecker said. "Liberty Vote is committed to delivering election technology that prioritizes paper-based transparency, security, and simplicity so that voters can be assured that every ballot is filled-in accurately and fairly counted."

Dominion Voting Systems sold to Republican-run company pushing paper ballots - RAWSTORY

A company run by a former Republican election official has purchased Dominion Voting Systems, according to a report.

Scott Leiendecker, the owner of Liberty Vote, served as St. Louis' Republican election director when Trump ally Ed Martin was the Board of Elections' chair for the city. Trump recently appointed Martin as head of the Weaponization Working Group at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Axios reported that Liberty required Dominion to settle several defamation lawsuits against Trump allies before the sale.
