In these turbulent times, please be kind [View all]

Earlier this morning, I posted a call for the 25th Amendment to be invoked. Numerous people gave my post a like, but several others ridiculed me and told me what the 25th Amendment is about. Yes, I know. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a PhD and am a member of Phi Alpha Theta International Honor Society in History.

I heard Trump's screed first thing this morning and thought this has to end. I posted out of frustration and anger and a desire for logic, reason and ethics to prevail. I am sorry for posting while I was so upset, but I love this country and want it to return to a democratic nation that much of the world respected.

Let's please be patient with each other. These are difficult, trying times. Yes, we need to hold each other to account, but please know anger, frustration and desperation occasionally enter in.

Thanks for reading.
