23. that's what the fuck he did today. demand changes

...so what the fuck is this about anyway?

We 'walk away' when the voting is done, and since there's no deal, and no extension save the suggestion by Schumer, the shutdown is still on.

Why represent this as anything else, and why expect our leaders to not come to the actual table and make their demands. After all, this is really the FIRST time republicans even let Democrats in on discussions anywhere on this budget.

What's the actual cave in what occurred today? Nothing was agreed to by anyone, and it looks like the shutdown is still on the way.

If there is an extension it will be at the behest of the Dem leaders proposal and it will be the WH and republicans caving because they;re spooked about their own cuts and their own constituents.

And what do people who don't need health subsidies care that he's working to get the extension included?

And what do people care that he's demanding changes in the way presidents can claw back money Congress approved?

I mean, what the hell are we fighting for? It's as if people yelling at him can't make their way to the things he's trying to negotiate. Do they care about the benefits?

Do they care about any of the fucking cuts? I want to know, because, it looks like all critics care about is bashing our own leaders for trying here.
