1. The House is getting back to the same numbers that existed just after the 2024 election.

It was 220-215 then, but numerous seats were vacated (both D & R) due to deaths, resignations, etc. 2 open seats remain. The special elections still need to be held for the seats previously held by Sylvester Turner (D) of Texas who died and Mark Green (R) of Tennessee who resigned.

All of the special elections so far have resulted in zero flips and these final 2 won't flip either.
