7. I loved this when I read it in my inbox this morning!

I’m right there with him. And, by the way, I’m a 72-year-old woman, the daughter of a WWII vet and a Swedish immigrant. My political beliefs were forged by those two patriotic Americans, both FDR Democrats. And my beliefs were solidly middle of the road and mainstream as I came of age. The Overton window has been pushed so far right in my lifetime that my views are now regarded as extreme. No! The oligarch-backed views are the extreme views.
