3. There's only one whale-like creature I can think of who is bothered by offshore wind turbines.

It is fortunately one of a very few remaining members of an endangered species; it is large, mostly orange in color (unlike any other extant cetacean), and is inclined to emit loud, incoherent sounds from its blowhole when provoked. It is especially disturbed by wind turbines that are visible from golf courses.
