Already has deployed the National Guard against the wishes of a state governor, and deployed the US Marines -- which is crossing a Rubicon for no legitimate reason other than exerting power and getting away with it.

The "conservative" super-majority Supreme Court has been an enabler instead of a guardrail against the unconstitutional actions of this fascist regime.

Where will be more than 3 years from now?

During the George Floyd protests in his 1st term he wanted the military to shoot protesters in the legs, but there were guardrails in place.

No longer. He's put sycophants in charge of the military, Justice Dept, FBI, and every federal agency. Anyone involved with previous investigations against him or deemed disloyal to him in any way is being fired.

He's chomping at the bit to declare large scale martial law, exerting REAL POWER that goes far beyond performative political theater.

Protests against this fascist regime will grow, and rightwing thugs are likely to instigate violence to provide a pretext for deploying the military against all forms of public resistance.

If you think he and his Rethuglican accomplices won't find a pretext for siezing elections, think again.

The highest priority for every kind of authoritarian government is to sieze power, and hold onto it.

The power we are struggling against goes far beyond one man. Donald Trump can stroke out before the end of his term, but that won't necessarily change a thing. JD Vance was selected to fill his role.
