was the only industrial power standing. The US benefited from the end of the industrial revolution, the materials revolution, the green revolution, the biomedical revolution, and the computer/electronics revolution. The US had the reserve currency which was successfully changed from being backed by precious metals, gold and silver, to being backed by uranium and lead. The US built a worldwide banking, agricultural, and industrial empire backed by the largest military in human history.

And from this unequaled wealth the US built the greatest wealth inequality in history.
