I don't think so, Israel would have responded the same way, with or without the 16% of their military budget US aid supplies.
The only difference is US smart munitions keeping collateral damage lower.

I also don't buy people only care for that reason, lots of people hate Israel & Jews in case you didn't know.
The words Pogrom, Ghetto & Holocaust all predate modern Israel.

And I am sure the IDF picks the munition needed for the job, Hamas has many underground facilities if you haven't heard, those take bigger booms to service. For example the US used a MOAB (21,715 lb) on Afghan tunnel complex's
