8 of the 10 have been under Republicans (Hoover 3, Trump 2, W.Bush 2 & Reagan 1). 2 were under FDR during the 30's

Today's drop was the 2nd largest single day drop ever, but percentage wise it was only -4.84% which places it well below the top 20 percentage drops.
