(333 posts)that just sat this one out. I know my son is one of them. He's a millennial that follows certain websites. They were pissed about Biden's handling of Hamas and that war. And that Kamala, and the whole Democratic Party is not progressive enough for them. They want big changes, but no matter how I explained it, he thinks the Democratic Party needs replacing with something better and that it has to burn down to do that. I agree with him in part, when the GOP gets in power they ratchet us back two clicks, then the Dems come in, spend most their time righting the ship, Maybe move us forward one click, then the GOP gets back in. I tried to explain it isn't just the Parties, it is also how many moron Americans there are that just keep electing Republicans that keep gumming up the works for a more progressive society. It has caused a lot of friction between us, which I am not too happy about. But, I am also pissed that he and all his like-thinking age group have caused this turmoil we have now.
