15. The sellers probably have a tag line that makes you responsible for tariffs.

I bought a 1960s camera from Japan earlier this year, and that was clear in the description of the item. I did a quick check and determined it was under the limit so I didn't need to worry about it..

But the tariff is paid by the importer, not the seller . . . so if you're still buying goods from overseas, you'll have to pay an additional amount when it enters the country.
