Sorry about posting the Young Turks, except it is the most researched I can find.

Here are the market prices of food:

https://www.cnbc.com/agriculture/

There you find what the industries pay for the raw crops from farmers. Click on the food you want to research, then expand the chart to full going back to 2007.

The great recession from the financial crisis often had higher prices than the Biden years.

From the chart on specific agriculture products, you see raw sugar prices are lower during the Biden years than during 2010-2012.

From the chart, wheat prices were more than double in 2007 and 2008 than presently.

From the chart, corn prices are about the same during the worst of the recent inflation compared to 2011 & 2012.

Grocery stores and corporations are price gouging.

There are a couple of examples of real market price inflation such as Cocoa and Soybeans, that are long term new highs. Cattle are at record highs, yet hogs are not.

The food industry and supermarkets used the excuse of inflation to drastically increase prices on foods across the board.

There was an inflation crisis around the globe, during a crisis from a supply chain issue from a pandemic and war/energy crisis, you are not allowed to price gouge during a crisis. Corporations deliberately price gouged to have very high margins and high profits.
