And these are polls which weren't really all that accurate then, either, and missed the mid-terms by a pretty wide margin.

I have less faith that ever before in media, even some "left leaning" media, to report truth that doesn't stir up controversy and ratings. What Republicans would love to see happen is for these early polls to cause Democrats to make decisions weakining their chances at winning in 2024. So skew some polls and see what they do.
